Degree Apprenticeship

Degree apprenticeships represent a fundamental shift in how organisations develop capability—combining academic rigour with real-world application to build future talent and address critical skills gaps.

Under the UK Apprenticeship Levy (introduced in 2017), employers contribute 0.5% of payroll into a dedicated training fund, accessible via the digital apprenticeship service. These funds can be used for approved training and assessment and expire if unused. For organisations below the threshold, the government co-invests up to 95%, ensuring accessibility across SMEs and supply chains.
